The 'Receipted Delivery' service ensures the delivery driver will ask the receiver to sign for the goods as delivered. If no-one is available to receive the goods, the driver will leave a card at the delivery address, asking the receiver to call the local transport depot to organise a re-delivery (or pickup from the depot if they prefer). There are no further 're-delivery charges' even if multiple re-deliveries are required. Transport Assurance is not included in this service.

If you require the goods to be covered against loss or damage while in transit, enter the wholesale value of the goods in AUS $.

Tail-Lift Truck

If the goods are heavy or awkward the "Tail-Lift Truck" service can assist to help load or unload the goods in two ways. The local depot will decide which is the best method for pickup or delivery of the goods:

1. A truck with a hydraulic tray at the back door lowers to the ground to help load or unload the goods.
2. A vehicle with two employees will be sent to load or unload the goods. Please note this is not a furniture type removal service, the staff will not deliver goods into a house and assemble. They are only to aide in the loading or unloading of the goods.

A maximum of 10 minutes onsite is allowed for.

Choose this service if you require the goods to be delivered to a PO Box or Post Office. Not all carriers can deliver goods to a PO Box or Post Office. Smart Send utilises a carrier with strong links with Australia Post that can enable a smooth delivery process for PO Box/Post Office deliveries.

After Hours Delivery

Most carriers will only deliver goods during business hours on weekdays. Smart Send has the ability to deliver goods after 5pm on weekdays or on Saturdays depending on your requirement.

Time Definite Delivery Window

If the receiver requires a smaller delivery time window, please choose your preferred time from the options displayed.

Need something delivered as Fast as Possible within Australia? Once booked, a driver is despatched immediately (during business hours) to pickup your goods and lodge them on the next available flight. Then depending on when the goods arrive at the receiving airport, the goods will be picked up and delivered as soon as possible to the destination (during business hours usually).

Track your package

Tracking: consignment-labels have a ‘barcode’ for ease of tracking via the “Tracking” feature on our homepage. Sellers and buyers can track the goods via our site.

Large items to send?

‘Tail-Lift Truck’ option for heavy or large items: if the goods are heavy or large/awkward we can send out a special truck that has a ‘tail-lift’ gate at the back to help load or unload the goods.

Need assurance?

'Transport Assurance' option to cover your goods against loss or damage in transit. A competitively priced option, from as low as $5.00 for $700 cover, with the ability to cover goods up to $10,000 per booking.

Receipted Delivery option – provides peace of mind if you would prefer a signature on delivery. A ‘Proof of Delivery’ can be viewed via the “Tracking” feature on our homepage (generally within 24-48 hours of delivery).
